Gym opens at 7:30. A brief coaches/captains meeting will take place at 7:40 A.M. to go over the ground rules for the day. All players playing in the second match should be there at least a 1/2-hour early. Any changes to format or playoff brackets will be handed out at the coaches meeting.

USVBA Rules will apply.

Format- Five (4) team pools. Pool play will be 2 of 3 games rally scoring to 25 points with a 27 point cap. If needed 3rd game is to 15 no cap. Teams DO NOT switch at 8 in pool play!

Playoffs will begin after all 5 pools have completed play.

All teams will advance to one of the following playoff divisions; Gold, Silver or Bronze

Medal for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place of the Gold and Silver Divisions. 1st and 2nd for the Bronze Division

Playoffs will begin after pool is completed. A playoff match is two out of three games to 25 pt., no cap. If a deciding game is needed it will be 15-point rally scoring, switch at 8 points and no cap.

*Warm-up Format Definition:

10 minute warm-up applies to the first 2 matches of the pool play each day and the first matches of bracket play.

A 2-4-4 format will be used for the 10 minute warm-up. The first two minutes will be for ball handling, followed by 4 minutes on the court for the serving team and then 4 minutes for the receiving team.

5 minute warm-up applies to all other matches. A 1-2-2 format will be used for the 5 minute warm-up.

3 games to a match; Play all 3 games!

Scoring: First 2 games are rally scoring to 25 points, 27 point cap. Team must win by 2 points, no cap.

Game 3 is rally scoring to 15 points and there is no cap.

Match 5 play must begin promptly at 12:00p.m. If not, the following will be used:

Matches 5 and 6 will be Games 1 and 2 rally scoring to 20 points, 22 point cap points. Game 3 rally scoring to 15 points, no cap, win by 2 points.

Rockford 17s will be team (B). You will be playing against: ARJO (A), TCVC 17 Gold (C) and Club ‘Sota 17-1 (D). Play will begin at 2:30pm, so you need to report to Lakeveiw South High School at 2:00pm.

Once you are completed with pool play on Saturday afternoon, you will be placed into a new pool to play on Sunday morning. After pool play on Sunday morning, you will be placed into a final play-off bracket.

* Please note that you may be at a different location on Sunday morning….and may need to switch schools again on Sunday in between morning pool play and afternoon bracket play. Please see your coach before leaving the school on Saturday.
