Rockford Area Athletic Association added to their softball offerings for the 2011 summer season. A high level of interest in this league resulted in twenty-six girls 8 years old or younger participating in fastpitch softball for the first time. We had two teams at this level and played against similar teams from St. Michael.
The intent of the Rockford Softball league is to provide an opportunity for players from 8 to 16 years of age to learn the game and prepare for older, more competitive levels of softball in an environment that focuses on teaching and improvement over winning.
The season starts with practices in April & end of season tournaments in July.

Birth Date cuttoff’s for determining what level to register at:
8U (DOB 2003/04/05) – player must be at least in 1st grade for the 2011-2012 school year
10U – Intro (DOB in 2001/02)
10U (DOB in 2001/02)
12U (DOB in 1999/00)
14U (DOB in 1997/98)
16U (DOB in 1995/96)
SUMMER TOURNAMENTS:
10 Travel/12s/14s/16s will play in New Ulm on June 23rd-24th
