Baseball Pitching Clinic by Tom Traen
The pitching camp will consist of two, two-hour sessions that will focus primarily on a “balanced” pitching delivery. Players ages 8-18 are welcome, including varsity players. The camp will focus on mechanics based on age, including pick-off moves to all three bases, how to field the pitchers position and the proper way to cover home plate and first base. Other essentials include mixing speeds, proper grip and mechanics of throwing the change-up and mechanics for breaking pitches. Temporary pitching mounds will be used for older kids. Participants will be split into camps by age and notified one week prior as to the session. The registration deadline is April 1.
